New place. Life VS Game.

New place. Moving into a new place. Will it be a better place? Unpredictable!!

Last night, went to Crown and play poker. Well, sticking to the basic strategy and won some money. Before that I shall wish Chanelle a Belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY here. Sorry friend. I left your party kinda early. I do have some things to do.

Last night, Daniel taught me the basic winning strategy in Black Jack. I lot of people know that I like to play Black Jack. Black Jack is just a game of whether to dare to go on with it and challenge the dealer. That is what life is about. Well, Willie said that life is like gamble. Daniel said that life is like a game. They are both very true. Something which I agree because that is how I look at my life.

Every step that I take. Every move that I plan. Everything I think. It is just like a game which is betting my future and life into it. The outcome will be what I am in future. It is like betting your life into it. It is not fun if the game is not exciting or the bet is too small. There is something different in this game is. There is only one chance and there is no reset button or rather to say, if you lose then you shall lose your life. We will never know when the game will end. We will never know.

So if you have anything that you plan to do then just do it. When you play a game also, you will have to do it to finish it of. The outcome of the game will be known if only you take the step forward. Planning what to do and going to do it is different I guess. Plan to play a game and going to play the game is different. It is just like me now, I plan to buy PS3 to have a go with it but the thing is I have not buy it and play it. What is the use of me planning about it?

The result is, buy PS3 asap and pay with it.. ^^

Semester break

Finally, semester break next week. I guess no difference. Everyday will still be the same. Finally, another assignment done. Yea, from the last post I mentioned that I was a bit light headed. Didn't get much sleep last night. Anthok/Antok, my friend's housemate saw me still awake in the living room and he was surprised. Material's assignment, it is fun. It needs analysis and a bit of 'THINK OUT OF THE BOX' thing. That is if we want to score better marks.

Well, after I finish my assignment this morning, I was also chatting with a friend. End up watching some movie call the 'Heirloom'. Basically she found the movie in crunchyroll site. Heirloom. I remember watching the movie in the cinema before. Horror movie? I will rate it 2 out of 5. Taking a break and listen to some songs that I had missed. Seem like there are a lot of new songs that I don't know nowadays.

Share a story with you guys today....
There was once in a class, a teacher hold a glass of water and ask the students to guess the weight of the glass.
"10g?" "20g?" "250g" the answers given by the students. Basically, no one can guess it right. Then the teacher hold the glass and shake it a bit asking the students:
"What do you think I am feeling right now by holding the glass of water?"
"Nothing?!?! It is just a glass of water" answer a student while others were puzzled about the question.
"How bout I hold it for few hours?"
"Well, of cause, you will feel tired. the glass will start to get shaky..." answer the student.
"If I hold it for 24 hours?"
"Your hand will start to feel numb. Tired? Probably broke your arm!!" answer another student jokingly and the whole laugh.
"How can I resolve this and prevent my arm from getting hurt?"
"PUT DOWN THE GLASS!" said the whole class laughing.

From this story, easily we can relate it to our life. A lot of people didn't know that stress has been part of their life. From here, stress is like the glass of water. If we hold on to it too long, it will slowly destroy us, make us ill and suck our energy away. That is why, at the end of everyday, just put down everything and go to sleep. ^^

Big dreams.. Dare to DREAM?

Lately.. Have been very busy. I guess so. Besides, assignments and studies piling up, I will still have to do my job (Which I have been slacking on it a bit) and also have to look for a new place to stay. Currently, no house, and bunk at one of the friend's place.

Big dreams. Something which everyone has. I hope so. One thing for sure, when young, it is something that we all have. As people grow, as they are being expose to the society, they will gradually forget about their dream. Most of the successful people in this world are successful because they DARE to dream. DREAM BIG! Something which I agree on. As we walk into the society, we encounter with many experiences which make us to be materialistic as well as realistic.

Last week or maybe last two weeks, I still remember the day when we celebrated the Mid autumn festival, one of my friend, Kristine and I went to Dockland. We went there to look at some event and try to learn something from them. Business minded I guess. After we had attended the event, we went for a walk around the Dockland Harbor. Sun was setting, the wind was blowing, perfect evening for a stroll and relax a bit. Then we came across a few yachts at the harbor. We did something which all normal person will do. Stand there and admire them. Besides that, we also did something extra, we each took a picture with it and decide to put it in front of our study table. We shall keep reminding us that, it is our dream to get one yacht for the each of us. Guess that we are the 20% who decide to do something extra that is dare to DREAM BIG and take action.

When, I look back at the picture we took at the harbor, it remind me of my primary school teacher. Mrs Hetal, who taught us "Kemahiran Hidup" I think. I am sure that I got her name right. Last time, I use to think that her lesson was some bullshit teaching us about how those successful people manage to make it and how some people manage to achieve their dreams. At that time she actually took the initiative to print, look for informations on those stories and passed it to us. Well, at that time we are some mindless, childish students especially me, do not even care about it. When I think back now, kinda appreciate what she had taught us. It is still within us even though after so many years.

Well, I got myself a board to pin the picture up.

Different rules and regulations

Australia. A country which is different from Malaysia. Today I said something to the landlady, and she replied "You think this is same as Malaysia?". Well, I do know that it is different. There is one ridiculous rules here, we can't drink in the public.

Thanks to that, I can't enjoy the Gold Coast beach night scene.

Speed

While watching full throttle, I found that the main character said something that is very true. I heard something similar before. From the movie, Too Fast Too Furious, "Tokyo Drift".

When you race or speed on the road. What is in your mind? Why do you like it? Simple.. It is the SPEED. From Tokyo Drift, the guy said that while he was speeding, it really feels as tough as everything is being left behind. The time seem to start moving slowly around you. That is the kind of feel.

I doesn't like to do things slow. Everything should be in a fast pace. Why slow down? I still remember how I speed around from Sentul or Subang home, setting the time limit for myself. I might not know how far is the distance. I might not be very skillful. It is just how I am trying to push myself of the limit and see how fast and far I can go. That is the most exciting part in our life.

Short post on 'Beach'

Finally, back from Gold Coast. After a few days of leadership training, today we finally able to go for some fun at the beach.
After the closing ceremony, 5 of us head on the Surfers Paradise.
It was then I realize the reasons why the beach can be so mesmerizing.
Simple. The beach is just very different at different time of the day. However, from morning till night, it is beautiful is its own ways. Morning with the sunrise, afternoon with the bright sky and the blue sea, evening with a enchanting sunset and night time filled with stars in the sky.
As the waves hit on the sand, it will wash away your foot prints so that you can continue to walk your path. When the weather turns bad, it will just show it ferocious side honestly.

When I as in Gold Coast, the part I enjoyed the most is when I was able to eat my breakfast and lookout to the beach from the Balcony.

Second night in gold coast. FUN? So far I think it was alright. Totally a different trip for me. Usually when you go for trips, it is all bout fun and games. This time it was the first time I go to somewhere else for training. Not really training. My fourth leadership training I guess.

Last time, I attended a few leadership training at it was nothing like this. High school leadership training is all bout game and normal team work. I still remember that our principal always stress about, "A good leader must learn to be a good follower." I had forgotten why he say so.

This time, the leadership is about leading groups of people to enjoy a better lifestyle and change their life. In high school it is easy to lead and work with the team because we know each other. We are all school mates. Now it is all about dealing with different group of people.

Soon I will post a detail post on this trip and on what I had learned from here.

Finally.. Taking a break.

Life has been hectic for me. 3rd of September had just passed. That day passed quite fast. It is good. That way I will feel much better.

Finally I was able to finish up my part for my assignments before I set of to Gold Coast. Going to Gold Coast in the middle in the middle of my semester study. It will do me good. Take a break before I face my final which is just around the corner.

September.... Luckily I was pretty busy for this month. Taking a break now before I face my test later at 10am. Still have lab to attend after that. Argh..

I will still have to go to city to do a bit of shopping afterward. When will I be able to enjoy a glass of cocktail by the beach?
