My 1st beach in Australia. Hampton Beach..

Hampton Beach. The first beach I visited in Melbourne. It was fun. Spending 1 hour a day before to shop for some BBQ food and also suntan lotion to protect myself for the day was easy. We do not have to marinate the chickens because it was all marinated and ready to be BBQed.

Woke up in the morning and took the train there. Luckily the train service is very convenient in Australia. It was not much of a hassle for us to get there. In the train we were exciting and eager to reach there. As ussual, all of us were entertained by Boon Hong and Jolyn in the train.

The view we saw as soon as we reached the place. Yatchs all over the horbour.

Another side was the beach. Clear sand and crystal clear water. It was a cloudy day. Such a nice weather for a picnic beside the beach.

Everyone Just can't wait to start BBQ as we were all hungry and eager to go for a swim at the sea.

Saliva dripping food. Hotdogs, garlic bread, kebabs and others.

Boon Hong and Weng sat together enjoying the scene. The gayness between them can be clearly seen from here.

At last, we were all getting ready to go down to the beach. After all the food being eaten, we were fully charged up.

Well, this couple is still enjoying their time with the BBQ pit. Boon Hong was nowhere to be seen. *Maybe he was somewhere looking at the beach alone.

After the sumptous meal, we went to the beach. There is a very big different between the beach here with Malaysia beach is the sea water here was very cold. We all did enjoy ourself in the water. Catching and throw each other in the sea. Trying to imitate the olden chinese way of commiting suicide by walking into the sea and wondering how they were able to do it. Finally the conclusion is they were just too depress to care and just wanted to end their life. Sound stupid. Life is just too great to end it.

Later on, civil engineering, mechanical engineering and commerce students decided to build a sandcastle. Without any tools to help us out, we will have to put in what we have learned into the project. From here, we all were admiring the ancient egyption as there were able to build the pyramids without any modern tools.

Getting the base ready for our so call sandcastle. Without the base, no structure will be able to survive. Applying some of the physics knowledge here.

Jolyn working hard. As a future actuarist/commerce student, she was trying hard to prove that she can build better than any engineers. However, according to Vern Liang, we as civil-engineers dun build. It is the workers' job to do so.
The outcome is some fort with two D sized boobs on top. The fort was decorated with seashells too. =.=

Well, we were proud of our work. All smiling and posing happily. Sad that I wasn't allowed to destroy it when we were leaving.

Side view. Not too bad for a structure made from bare hands.

After the sandcastle was done, it began to drizzle, forcing us to rush to the nearby toilets to change. While we were waiting for the toilets, the weather bacame fine again. Spending only 2 and a half hour in the beach was not enough. We all decide to charge back to the sea for some swim before we leave. Once again we were inside the cold sea water. This time, we were all shivering in the water as the cold wind whipped across out face.

Reluctanly we left at around 4.30pm. We will have to go back early for some rest and we still have another trip on the next day. The boobs was left there. Maybe others will destroy it or maybe it will be washed by the sea. Who knows..
